On a Monday evening in third week of August, in tranquil downtown Carmel-by-the-Sea, one could tell the town would soon change. Ferrari flags were beginning to hang from shops, and one by one, rare cars started rolling in.
It was the first day of Car Week. The floodgates for the thousands who make the pilgrimage to the Monterey Peninsula would soon open. But, before then, I stumbled upon a true gem: a 1-of-15-made Porsche 911 Nebraska by Singer Vehicle Design, featuring an olive leather interior and powered by a modern GT3 engine.
